Obsession

I never knew that you could type in comedians in "pandora" until the other day. It has now turned into my favorite thing:) i love to listen to it while i get ready for work or bed or really any time now. My favorite comedians to listen to now are Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan. They are so freaking hilarious and clean. Anyways i found some of my favorite stuff of theirs so i hope you enjoy:)

Horsies:)

Well everyone this is what i did this week:

This is me and Stevie at the Rodeo:) i love the rodeo! 

We went three times this year. They were all pretty exciting. 

We sat there most of the night and argued about which horse was the prettiest. ha ha

My favorites are barrel racing and bull riding! 

I love barrel racing because its what the ladies do. 

And i love bull riding because its so intense! i love watching all the guys flying off the bulls:)

its so fun

We also went horse back riding this week. Its one of my favorite things to do!

This is Ace in the picture. Hes a beast. Me and Stevie had to both ride on Ace this time. 

Poor guy! ha ha  There other horses were off getting bred so there will be little mule babies!

We rode up in the foothills and took a picnic. 

Here is Stevie with Ace. 

It was so pretty up there! its all green and there are tons of wild flowers growing. 

We didnt see much wild life, just a GIANT scary snake!

It was so much fun! I want to go again!

And I also got new bedding at Cabelas! Its so cute!

Gradumacation:)

Well i graduated from 3 things these last couple of weeks and here are some awesome pictures!

First was my MATC graduation. 

i was soo happy to finally be done cause it caused me the most stress this year. 

Now im a Certified Dental Assistant!

The wind was blowing so thats why i look a little bit retarded:)

Next was seminary graduation.

I was happy about graduating that one too.

And Lastly my high school graduation. 

This one was so weird cause now im all old and stuff and out of high school. 

who knows what i want to do with my life?

Prom 2011

Well everyone! sorry i haven't blogged in such a long time! 

These past couple of weeks have been so crazy. 

I have a lot to catch up on so i decided to start with prom:)

Here is me with my sparkly Toms which i love!

Isn't he such a cute boy? :)

For our day date we went to the new Jack & Jill's in Lehi and played laser Tag and Bowled. 

We ate at a boys house who was in our group and it was sooo good!

Our prom was that the Marriott hotel in Provo. 

Over all it was a fantastic night!

Bunny! Bunny! Bunny!

Well i just got a bunny and she is probably the cutest thing ive ever seen. 

I cant stinking decide on a name. 

Ive thought about maybe naming her franny, pickle, or ursula,

 so you'll have to tell me what you think she should be named. 

well anyways here she is....

ha ha and yes that is a leash... 

i take her on walks(or hops) around my yard

and i sit down and she likes to lay under my legs while i pet her:)

shes funny. she is also very sweet and sometimes sassy.

My Crazy & Fantastic Day!

Hello Everyone, 

today i had a crazy awesome day so i thought i would tell you about it:)

For my dental assisting class we have to go to 5 different specialties and observe for 3 hours. 

i already went to a pediatric dentist (which was crazy and i learned that i don't want to work there)

and today i went to a periodontist(so i still have oral surgeon, orthodontist, and endodontist) 

perio means "around the teeth" so its a specialist that deals with all the structures around teeth. 

today i happened to be able to observe a bone graft, gum graft, and a extraction. 

the bone graft and gum graft were CRAZY cause what he did was cut the gums with a barred barker (a.k.a scalpel) and then open them up so you could see the bone!!! and the patient was awake this whole time!! it was so crazy. and then he put bone in and then donor gum tissue(which was white) and then sewed it back up! 

It made me kinda light headed. 

And the extraction was really gross too because you could hear all the poping and stuff.

But overall it was awesome and i would LOVE to work at a perio office:) 

oh and by the way i passed all my finals with a 92%!!! 

and we got this cake:)

Well i decided which dress to get and bought it the other day:) it has always been my favorite but i wanted to see which ones you guys liked the best.

Prom?

Prom is coming up! 

its on April 30 so ive started my looking for a cute prom dress:) 

Me and my mom went to the mall last week and we found only 2 stores that had prom dresses! Thats so crazy you think they would have more! But in Deb they didnt have my size. They were all too big and alyssas bridal had all the same dresses as they did last year and they are all like $400 dollars. So i have been looking on the internet and these are the ones that i like. They all are going to need a sweater or something but go ahead and vote on which one you like the best:)

This week in my dental class we are learning about surgical tools and different dental surgeries. 

We got to do cool things like learn how to do stitches on a hot dog and stuff but the coolest thing we got to do is take teeth out of a cow jaw! our teacher wanted us to see what it felt like for the doctor to extract teeth so that we would know how to help him. 

Sorry i know it is pretty disgusting but it was awesome! 

Cow teeth are weird. they aren't single teeth like ours they are all kind of fused together so we had to saw them apart. they were also really ground down. 

Here is a picture of us working on the jaw. The surgical tools are HUGE compared to the regular tools use in dentistry. 

And here is the final outcome. Look at those roots!

My First Post! About Teeth!

Well hello everyone! I have started my own blog! yay! 

I decided for my first post I would write about my favorite thing that i have doing lately:) 

This year i have been going to MATC for dental assisting. It is my favorite thing to do ever! Teeth amaze me so much and i love the feeling of being in the chair assisting the dentist. So i decided to show you some pictures of the cool things i have been doing in my class!

This is a model of someones teeth. It is a pretty complicated process to get a perfect model like this. I love this model though because the teeth are so perfect and beautiful! (i had to color the teeth to show the different surfaces)

This picture is my model again but i did a filling on its tooth. Fillings are more complicated then i thought too!

This is a syringe that i put together. Even though we cant numb anyone we still have to learn how to put everything together (dental assistants do the most work in the offices) we were learning how to assemble them and then our teacher had us give shots to oranges:)

We get to learn about all the specialties too so in this one we did the orthodontist chapter and i got to put these braces on this mouth. Braces are so fun to put on! But not that fun to wear....

and this last one is me at my intern after i assisted my dentist for the first time with a cavity. it was so special that they had to take a picture for me:) ha ha i especially like the kid in the chair.
